lol Imitates gruff voice : *grapeape!* Wow I just barely remember that one.  Thanks to you too Ali...you know I dont think I knew that G-Force and Battle for the planets were one in the same but I watched them too.  but oh the fiery phoenix! I do remember that.

I think in my area they aired cartoons way older then my generation (I still liked them) because I remember seeing Felix-the-cat (a way oldie I think), Magilla Gorilla, Mighty mouse & Underdog during my tiny tot years.

and the Oggy family ... yeah, they were really good!

I quite the Angry Beavers too, although that's a modern one

I had to think for a bit because they were in a few different shows. Dick Dastardly and Mutley were in Wacky Races, and so was Penelepe Pitstop. Then, Dastardly and Mutley were in Dastardly & Mutley in Their Flying Machines (or something like that), and Penelope Pitstop was in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.

OK...brain hurts now...must go lie down.

i think it was Ranger Smith...idk....

i mostly watch VH1 Classic these days, along with:
MythBusters
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation...even though not as much anymore. it's not the same without Grissom Cry
House
Man vs. Food
Dirty Jobs
The Simpsons
King of the Hill
and whatever's on the Boomerang channel

heck, i remember when Scooby Doo was popular among my friends, everyone liked either Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, or Daphne. don't get me wrong, i did like Shaggy and Scooby, but i felt i was the only one who really liked Velma. in my opinon, she's a very underrated character on that show...

Hi caffeinated.joy

My dad was in the army so I got to go everywhere.

Heres one to make you brain hurt. I watched  Dick Dastardly, Mutley and Penelepe Pitstop in the Wacky Races, and Dastardly and Mutley were in Dastardly & Mutley in Their Flying Machines in Japanese. the were no cartoons Arm Forces TV in English durring the week so we watched them on on japanese tv stations

Mutley is still one of my all time favorites.

I also watch the lift off Apollo 11 and the landing on the moon live in Japan, in one room the US Adults were watching on Arm Forces TV in English, and in the other Japanese Self Defense force guys were watch in Japanese.

Makes caffeinated.joy a pot of french press coffee, puts out half and half and sugar, and hands her a bottle of Tylenol.

 Hmmm,
So many greats, so little time. I guess, for me, it's an even split between The Pirates of Darkwater and the Smurfs.  Does anyone else remember the PacMan cartoon? Or am I just aging myself?

Hey caffeinated.joy and Squinge

Heres on to blow your mind try to imagine the old Popeye the Sailor, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck all in Japanese. Those were the cartoons

Now wrap your brain around Bonanza, Mavrick, The Mick Mouse club and Star Trek the original tv series in Japanese.

Maybe that why I warped.

P.S. caffeinated.joy I also liked Danger Mouse but I saw that when I was in Tech school in the 1988.

Wow, I remembered some of the names from the old cartoons I used to watch in the 70s and 80s as well as some of my favorite all-time shows.

Battle of the Planets was definitely a "Must See" show when I got home from school in time to watch it, and their ecological messages were pretty cool to watch at the end of the show.

Classic Cartoons:

Tom and Jerry
Bugs Bunny (and Looney Tunes - Donald Duck, Road Runner and others - not going to name them all)
Scooby Doo
Underdog
Animaniacs (Helloooo Nurse!)
Popeye the Sailor (Actually visited the original town where Popeye was created at - Chester, IL)

Classic Shows:

The Bionic Woman
Duke Hazzard (I think Duke of the Hazzards but it's the General Lee car I liked the best Tongue )
Wonder Woman
Disney specials on Sunday nights (Chicago area)
The Knight Rider (KITT was the coolest car I've seen and wanted to have but no Tongue )
MacGyver

But I didn't watch a lot of tv as a kid and as a teen because I was very active then to stay inside. On rainy days, yeah it was tough.

Wow! How could I leave out Saturday nights with jim henson?

The Muppet Show of course! Oh and sesame street back when it was engaging Giggle.

Max Headroom
Automan
Square pegs...

True Chaavik that was back when tv wasn't cooler then bicycles so I only caught episodes once in a while.  Except the Muppet Show--I was faithful with that one.
