Stop Putting Food Plates on Floor, Stupid!

I HATE it when my Sims do this.  They will prepare a meal.  When complete, they will attempt to serve it.  I cancel that action because I want them to place the meal on the counter.  They put the plate of food on the floor!  That ticks me off!

Any hacks for this particularly annoying behavior?

The mod already existed, and it can be used with FT and up including Mansion & Garden.
