I have searched and have not found anything in regards getting rid of the autonomous cleaning.  This would be extremely helpful since all of my medieval royal sims run around and clean and after months of clicking it off I'm getting rather tired of it.

I know that if I give them low neat then generally they are less inclined to clean but then the next generations aren't guaranteed the same (and with low neat they eat sloppy so it is a no win situation).

If I knew anything about modding I would of tried doing it myself but I do not possess any knowledge Sad

Edit: Forgot to add that I have all expansions to Apartment Life.

Okay, what kind of autonomous cleaning behavior are you observing with your Sims? There are many actions associated with cleaning such as taking trash out, washing windows, cleaning toilets and etc. We need to know which cleaning actions are autonomous.

Alrighty, this is what I have observed:

Cleaning toilet/bath/shower/sink/counters/stove
Cleaning or clearing plates
Cleanup newspaper/trash/trash piles
Making bed

This is basically most of them.  I'm so excited that this is being considered to be made Cheesy

Thanking you in advance!

So you don't want your sims to autonomously clean anything? lol

Oh I don't have houses streaming with trash Tongue I just like to tell who and when to clean is all hehe!

I have many noble families which already have butler/maid and normally they'll have a housekeeper too.  If that is way too many things to implement for the mod then I'd be happy with just:

Clearing/cleaning plates
Cleaning toilets/bathtubs/showers

I can see what I can do. Check back here for details or check our To Do list in the Mod Help section for status and info on the requests.

Okay, the two mods I found were already made but tested for compatibility with AL:

No Autonomous Washing Dishes - EP3
No Autonomous Taking Out Trash

I use the alt version (All lots version) for doing dishes because I sure as heck don't go around cleaning up the dishes in a restaurant IRL.  Grin

The take out trash mod works fine for all related trash duties such as trash piles, leaf piles, trash cans and etc.
