Hi all I have had many many request for Yaniko so here she is ready for you game. She was in a contest at Sim Oasis called Emotions.  The following pictures portray several of them.  Please treat her well, she is very sweet in game.  She is a knowledge sim who is athletic, neat and shy. I have all EP's and most SP's only missing Ikea and H&M.  I would suggest downloading her with Clean Installer.  I want to thank all Custom Content creators, because without your wonderful work we would have some EAxis ugly sims, for that I am truly grateful that you guys give us such beautiful sims.

You may do as you wish with her, just DO NOT CLAIM AS YOUR OWN WORK.

What she comes packaged with:

------>Download<------

Any problems with the upload let me know.  Enjoy! Happy Simming!

I find the domestic violence picture offensive and unacceptable.  Then you follow it with another picture of violence?  Why not just post your sim and keep your violent tendencies/fantasies to yourself.

I apologize if you find it offensive! She was in a contest at Sims Oasis it was for the Emotions contest and she was displaying several of the emotions we had to portray! I should have put that information into my description, but quite honestly I didn't think anyone would be offended as most people can separate fantasy from reality. I was in no way trying to be offensive, I will take them down as to not offend YOU anymore! I really think you came across rather nasty and offensive and I don't feel it should have been handle in this matter.  You should have pm'ed me with your concerns in a nice manner and I would have gladly taken them down and not gotten offended, but I feel I now must justify why they are coming down in a means to defend myself. I am the co-chair of a Domestic Violence shelter and I see what Domestic Violence can do first hand, it was not only about a month ago I had to take a woman who was set on fire by her domestic partner about a year ago for a hearing to face this monster, I help these ladies find jobs and make a way for themselves and their children, I help them find housing, sit with them in court as their support system, or simply raise donations monetary and otherwise to help out. I also don't appreciate that you think I have violent tendencies, I have never purposely hurt a living sole in my life!!!! How dare you! They are F**KING SIMS... MAKE BELIEVE... NOT REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would NEVER EVER DO ANYTHING that would cause ANYONE harm!!!!!!!! I think those here at Insimenator who "know" me can testify to that.  I have never been mean to anyone here.

Edit: One last thing then I will stop my rant and climb down from my soap box. Quite simply and honestly those pictures I felt were the best of the competition, that is why I put them up not because I have "violent tendencies/fantasies"!

I understand we have our own opininons, but I don't see what in this comment can be viewed as constructive. If you really have nothing good to say about something or can't be more diplomatic about stating your opinion, then don't state it, please. Comments like that just start arguments. Like Jelly stated in the post above mine, this would have been better handled privately via pm, and you could have been much more polite about it. You didn't know the motive or reason behind the pictures, and so you assumed the worse. Next time, perhaps it would be better to find out what's going on before jumping to conclusions, ok?

Moving on...

Jelly, she's lovely. Her eyes are simply amazing.

I wanted to add my support of Jelly's pictures.  They were beautiful and appropriate as they were highlights of the sims appearance in a contest.  To the poster offended perhaps you could have pm'd Jelly and asked her about it before coming to an incorrect conclusion?

btw:  Thanks Jelly for sharing her! Wink

Jelly--

I wish you had stated that they are for a contest, that the contest specifically had a theme of emotion, and that you do not condone this kind of behavior.  Does your explaining the context matter?  Yes!  The fact that people and animals are sometimes victims of violence doesn't mean we should be desensitized to images of that violence.  People who torture animals have been found to feel nothing about torturing and murdering people too.  The fact that Sims are ones and zeros doesn't matter--the realism that has been achieved in appearance made the images startling.

I am a long time active advocate of women, children and animals, and violence against them (and men too, though this happens less often as they are often more empowered) because I know how it destroys families and can break a person's soul.  I am sensitive about this topic.

I'm glad you are not pro-violence, and I'm sorry that I insinuated that you are.  You're right, I assumed you were condoning this kind of behavior, and I was wrong.  I still don't like the pictures, and I'm glad you took them down.  The new ones are beautiful.  You made a beautiful, realistic sim, and I hope you continue making them.

Again, I sincerely apologize.

Btw:  to no one in particular--if the pictures are acceptable because they were a part of a contest, why not show babies and children being beat up with a close up of their bloody faces? Child abuse happens too.  Would anyone be hurt by this?  Are children more taboo, or maybe it would be okay to show a dog or cat all bloody?  Is that okay because it's for a contest?  Where do you draw the line?  Just food for thought, nobody has to answer.
