How do I place stuff on things

I want to put stuff on mantle or Fireplace and cant sit stuff on it how do I do this it is done at the Goths but I dont see how to do it>?

The way most do it is by getting the various OMSP posts from MTS2,which is down till the 12th, and using them to place objects on mantels, shelves, pianos and such.

To use them, find the appropriate size, place your object on it, call up the cheat window and use "moveobjects on" and "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false" cheat to position. Then use the recolor tool to change to the included invisible recolor. The post will disappear and leave your object in place.
