This is funny, because when I was answering the other song post, I was thinking about a post with the "fave song".

Hm... I have a lot of favorites. But I will say that the song "Walkin' on Sunshine" always makes me want to dance - even when I'm sitting down. It's such a feel-good song. Even when I'm bummed, it doesn't take long to turn my mood around when I play this song.

You know, for risk of sounding like a dork - I really like the theme for "Smalliville" (on the DVD and the song itself). It gets me excited to watch the show, lol.

Good choices, by the way, I ange bleu (and figuring, noting your pic, lol). I personally like "Dancing Queen". That one makes ya dance, too... at least sing along.

I am ridiculous when it comes to my music, so I can't just say one.

Snow Patrol "Set the Fire to the Third Bar", "Run" and "If There's a Rocket, Tie Me To It"
The Frames "True", "What Happens When the Heart Just Stops" and "Locusts"
U2 "With or Without You"
Coldplay "Viva La Vida", "The Scientist", "A Rush of Blood to the Head" and "Fix You" (Although I don't allow myself to listen to "Fix You," too painful)
Josh Ritter "The Temptation of Adam"
Damien Rice "Delicate" and "Accidental Babies"
and uh ... James Blunt "Goodbye My Lover"

Don't make fun of me.  tongue That song is the reason I got through the death of my best friend and I shall never diss James Blunt for it.

Get me away from here, I'm dying by Belle & Sebastian.
it's the most beautiful song i've ever heard, definitely Smiley it's
really sad but painfully beautiful, and hopeful, still.
a song that makes me feel alive and happy is Temptation by New Order.
i could name like 10 haha but these two are good examples!

"Afternoon Delight"
I remember having an argument with a guy friend about how I didn't care for songs that were so expicitly sexual—giving this one as an example of a sweet homespun romantic song(like the good 'ole days).  I called him a twisted perv Eyebrow, Laugh2 since it was so obviously about singing and having a lovely picnic on a summer day with the one you love.
Looking back now he was quite nice...he just looked at me like you poor sweet deluded child & left me to my fantasy Glomp.

Meh, I was young who knew ? Embarrassed Titter

Coldplay, "Viva la Vida"
Shayna Zaid, "Among the Dead" (Sounds odd, I know, being from a zombie movie, but I love it)
Loreena McKennitt, "All Souls' Night" (This one makes me fantasize about being on a beach at sunset and just dancing wild and free; right in the surf)
Linkin Park, "Numb", "One Step Closer", "Leave Out All the Rest"
Lacuna Coil, "Our Truth", "Swamped"

and finally...

The Nightwish version of "Phantom of the Opera"

Mine would have to be a toss-up between the Stevie Ray Vaughn version of Mustang Sally or the ELO version of Roll Over Beethovan. I admit, I am older and definitely old school, but those two songs really make me want to move.
