Did you see him in "Valley Girl"? It's still one of my favorite teen movies of the 80's.

"Drowning Mona"..again.

You dare speak ill of Trainspotting? You heathen! You blasphemous, ill-mannered heathen!

...and Nicholas Cage? Meh. I'll pass.

Trainspotting is win. But at least watch Velvet Goldmine, Ali. Ewan McGregor, Christian Bale, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Why wouldn't you?

I'm not fond of Nicholas Cage, either. He seems to have one facial expression.

The original "The Last House on the Left". Wow, was it freakin' awful!!

I just hope the remake is better. Course, if the new one sucks, it still wouldn't be as bad as the 70's version.

I started out watching There Will Be Blood, realized pretty soon I'd rather watch paint dry, then put on Cassandra's Dream and kind of half napped as I watched it.

You can imagine how much I loved both of them.  rolleyes

Milk starring Sean Penn was the last new movie I saw. I normally don't like Sean Penn, but wow, he was fantasic as Harvey Milk. The whole freaking cast terrific.

You know, I take back my last reply. I had forgotten I had recently seen "Milk". What a great movie, I agree.

Although, I have always been a fan of Sean Penn as a writer, director and actor.
