Precious- For the first time I saw a movie which made me cry, I'd recommend to others but never want to see again. The story is strong, tough to take but very real. No bleeding heart excuses are made for the abusers in this film (for once) and I fully appreciate that.  It's certainly not for young children.

I want to see the new one too, as soon as it comes out to rent. I can't take 2 little ones to the movie theater...that would be a disaster.

Apparently it's movie-evening on the TV, so I watched "Eragon" up until a few minutes ago, and now it's "The day after Tomorrow".

Saw "The princess and the frog", "9" (the animation movie), and "Percy Jackson and the lightning thief" while I was at the Animex festival (plus some fun, exclusive clips from the "How to train your Dragon" movie from Dreamworks. I also talked a bit with James Baxter, who is a supervising animator at Dreamworks Grin).

9 was great (but a bit too predictable...), Princess and the frog - pretty much thypically Disney (You know the ending 5 minutes after the start, plus waaaaay too much singing and dancing), Percy Jackson - The book was better, but I loved the ending  Grin

The last movie I watched was Ninja Assassin. I've been trying to go see The Crazies for the past week but my dad wants me to wait for his schedule to clear so he can go rolleyes. I'm determined to see it by Sunday with or without him Grin

Don't know, I haven't seen it. But my brother said it was, "Just like Pocahontas...with good graphics."

I didn't actually like Avatar. I watched it in plain old 2D and it was pretty rubbishy I thought.

I saw Avatar months ago, I though it was pretty good (albeit though the story of uncaring humans destroying other places/planets & cultures for money has been done before, plenty of times).

2012 made me laugh alot, so did Legion--then agan I have an odd sense of humor. Loved the Princess and the Frog, like Raven said typical disney songfest as usual, the kids loved it Cheesy.

Planet 51, very cute.

Where the Wild Things Are...without a doubt the weirdest, crack-powered movie I have ever seen. That kid was a friggin psycho. His mom should have been more concerned with getting him some mental help than she was with work and dating.
