The Crazies. It was good, but I agree with my dad that it was something I could have waited for to come out on tv.  Wink

Watched 'The Lovely Bones' earlier today with the S/O and some friends. Turned out to be a pretty good movie.

Where the Wild Things Are...without a doubt the weirdest, crack-powered movie I have ever seen. That kid was a friggin psycho. His mom should have been more concerned with getting him some mental help than she was with work and dating.

I couldn't get through the first five minutes since I expected something fun and closer to the book.  I remember loving the awesome artwork in the book.

Liked this one as well. *Possible spoiler:* Watching it a second time creeped me out since you can totally recognize the stalking that you didn't notice before.

Trust me, Dasi. If you saw the 1st five minutes, you saw the whole thing. It sucked and was totally sad, weird and broody the whole way through. I think the directors thought they were being artistic for the emo kids or something.

Yep, it was the way the monsters/animals matched the book that made me want to see it, but whoa--the downer tone made me skip it without even seeing them.

Saw The Lost Boys when it aired the other day.  I still love it made me laugh a bit too. *sigh* RIP Corey Haim & also Andrew Koenig.

Just finished watching Love me if you Dare
It's an old-ish movie, 2003? 2004? and it's originally french.
It was a nice movie, I liked it.
I kinda felt like watching it just because part of it was in a music video I listened to a day before.  tongue
I have to say, it was completely worth it.
I do have to say, french movies, or at least this one, are a bit weird.

Alice in Wonderland. Movie was so awesome, I am still speechless.

I wanna try and drag hubby to see 'How To Tame Your Dragon'. Dragons and viking are like perfect combo pack. I'm half way through melting him, If I managed to drag him To "Princess and A Frog" with me, this should be easy.

Watching Pocahontas with my son... I don't know what she's smokin'. Because the Native man Cocoam is better looking, stronger, and braver than John Smith.

(Little known info, did you know the John Smith part of the Pocahontas story never actually happened? Supposedly John Smith liked to flap his gums. At the time he says he met her, she was only about 11-13. And it turns out, John Smith was supposedly nowhere near her area until she already left the tribe to go to England with John Wolfe)

I've seen #2...which is also barely based on fact, being that Pocahontas died on the way to England and had one son already at the time of her death (by husband John Rolfe). Also, she had at one time been married to Cocoam.

Well if you present that to kids, you know how many mothers will complain? They complain that it's not accurate, yet they complain when something is too accurate Cheesy

The Hurt Locker thought it was good. Been watching old movies this week so I saw Bachelorette Mom and Stage Door <---loved seeing the old stars so young. They were pretty nice movies.
