Ponyo. Need I say more? (Swordfish was a dam* good movie, too, even if I do completely loathe Travolta.)

Watched Independence Day until the city-sized ships detached from the mothership, then tuned back in in time for Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum to do the impossible: Somehow fly a stolen alien spacecraft into the mothership without the aliens catching on, somehow hooking up their laptop to the alien's computer network, launching a computer virus and a missile, and escaping alive.

Scary Movie 4. My little sister and I watched all four of them in the last couple days and we laughed SO hard XD Even if they are a weeeee bit inappropriate for her *innocent whistling* I covered her eyes a lot during that movie.

I want to see Ponyo SO bad! Hayao Miyazaki does excellent movies. Cheesy

And yeah, John Travolta is far far far from my favorite, but Hugh Jackman is awesome (and hot!). Grin

I recently watched Martyrs, a French horror movie. It was SERIOUSLY MESSED UP! Ten times more vicious and scary than any American horror movie I've seen.

Cabin in the Woods.

So not scary. Still, it was entertaining.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa.

Love it. :]

I think I am going to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine again.
Because Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is super epic win.

Wolverine Origins is the movie that spawned my love of the X-Men movies.

When it came to theaters, a friend of mine (an X-Men fan) asked me if I'd go see it with him. I said yes because no one else would go. I figured I'd just sit through the movie and pretend to have a good time. By the time the credits started rolling, I was addicted. I turned to him and said, "I'm borrowing your X-Men movies. Tonight."

LOL!!! Grin

Sita Sings The blues, an obscure but very interesting animated movie created by Nina Paley. Here's a link to her website: http://www.sitasingstheblues.com I don't know if Ms Paley was ever a Simmer or not but she would have made a great one! She made this movie and then just gave it away! Wonderful! A must-see if, for no other reason, than to honor her creative spirit and generous, wonderful attitude toward life, culture and everything!
