Well, didn't see it in a theater but today, for the first time and after years of listening to the soundtrack, I watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show. And I loved it!

Hooray!!!

The last movie I watched was The Dark Tower. It's an ok movie but nothing more. Never read the books but I can certainly see why the book fans are pissed off by this movie.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was worth the time it took to view. I'm hoping to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 some time in the near future but I've also managed to see Dr. Strange. Very enjoyable! Looking forward to Ragnarok, that's for sure.

(Also the roomy, GF, and I did binge Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas, and every single Harry Potter movie a few weeks back)

Got to see Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, loved it. Managed to catch most of the new Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead men Tell no Tales, and it was a pretty decent outing. Right now, my brain is still recovering from the husband's all week-end long binge watch of the TV series Get Smart. The movie they made out of it with Steve Carrel and Anne Hathaway was a decent watch. Debating on whether or not to let the boy watch the newest Jeff Dunham, though. I really don't need him repeating more of Peanut and Achmed at school than he already does; even if he IS in eighth grade they still have limits as to what they'll tolerate when it comes to kids cursing... Last thing he needs is suspended. Hell, the last thing I need is for him to get suspended, what am I talking about??

Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That movie was a hot mess.

...and Furball, my Brother in Law introduced my nephews and niece to the joy that is Jay and Silent Bob. AKA: they binged a bunch of Kevin Smith flicks recently. We're waiting to see who gets suspended first for repeating some of the lines from those movies. Hah!

My kid has seen ONE Jay and Silent Bob movie and that was Dogma... He really loved watching Alan Rickman in that movie. If it's got Rickman, he'll watch it. On Sunday, though, we watched the live action version of Beauty and the Beast.

We just watched The Christmas Chronicles (we as in me and my mother, while my child wasn't home, because I wanted to see if it was appropriate for her).
