Hello Everyone!
Sorry it has taken me more than 2 weeks to log on recently. Everyone is fine. My computer just completely took a dump on me. Something happened to my drivers and they fried themselves. It took the tech guy FOREVER to fix my system. My internet connection still has something wrong with it. It;s working very slowly, at only 9.6 kbps right now, so it is taking me a long time to get anything done. I'm trying to get it all fixed, because I know my update is due. Just to let the staff know, I do plan on getting this week's updates posted by Sunday morning if my internet works long enough to allow it.

On a happier note, Rosie is already smiling all of the time. I'll try to see if I can get a picture of it up. Daemian and B are both doing well too.

My mom sent me some pics (in the mail) of little Lukas a couple of days ago, and he's sooooo adorable  . He looks a lot more like his mother than his dad (unlike his big brother, who is the spitting image of his dad)

Almost can't wait to see my two nephews next week (going home for a little vacation)

So, Raven, when are you going to share some pics? I would be flooding the site with pics of my grandbabbies but my daughter says that it scares her to see pics of her children on the internet.

my daughter says that it scares her to see pics of her children on the internet.

I clearly understand why other people don't want pics of themselves or their kids spread all over the net, since I feel it that way, too. I'm generally very careful with real-life pictures, so I probably won't put up any baby pics (even though it's a little tempting).
I hope people understands this

I just heard that the first waves are hitting Hawaii. We don't have TV does anyone have a good update link for news? I have been searching the net but it hasn't been very satisfactory.

There are a couple  but KFVE Hawaii is one local station that has online live reports, KHNL, KGMB Hawaii is another. I'm floored by the number of people that have to be asked not to go to the beach to watch the wave come in.

Right now, there have been heavy recessions of water in Hilo, (big island, Island of Hawaii) but so far the incoming surges following them have been slow. It's nowhere near over yet so we're just waiting and hoping for the best.
