Now that you mentioned that, I went to check to see how long I've been a member here: Seven and a half years. I suddenly feel old.

Over seven years for me as well. Why do I suddenly have to urge to start handing out canes to all us old fogeys? LOL.

Edit: Katie, you'll have been a member here for five years this October. Still a long time.

Member of the seven year club myself. Whether that's a good thing or not, who knows. Hah!

...also, belated congratulations, Katie!

I've been on here 7 years, 5 months and a week, to be more or less exact. I think I registered some 3 months after I started playing sims 2. Got my first laptop around New Year's Eve that year.

Lol that was just a totally random guess, I thought I was about 11 when I started getting CC *shrugs* Well I know this is where I discovered CC!

Thanks, Jenna.

While we're on this subject, here's a glimpse of how bored I am: I learned that if you sort the members list by date registered, that according to it I was the third to last person to register on February 12th, 2006.

I came much later to the Sims then most on here I think. I remember that I came here, lost because I purchased SLS summer' 08 and spent months messaging EA (to no avail) because I couldn't get the darn game to run properly, get my free CC etc.  Then I found inSim and maty and discovered this little thing called my downloads folder.  Been hooked on you guys AND TS2 ever since, Titter.

Amazing the years we've all been around and how you grow as a family and a community. Aww I love all of ya--c'mere ya big bunch of sim crazies Hug2...and no that's not just the painkillers talking.  Then again, well maybe....hehe  Evil  Wink

I've only been around this place for six years, but as a side note, I'm an official forty-eight now. We're in negotiations to buy a home of our own, have a car that is less than fifteen years old and will be seeing a doctor soon about some medical issues that have cropped up recently. You may now pass me that cane, Joy. Balance isn't what it used to be, y'know, getting old and such like.

Pfth! 48 is not old, Paden!
I'm still getting used to my parents closing in on their pension-age. Mom still looks like she has at least 20 or so years to go (even if it's really less than 10)...

Anyway, I'm starting to realize that this is my final school year (at least for now). The first year there's a long way until the Bachelor paper, and it's kinda somewhere far out in the distance, but now it's just around the corner from Christmas. Where the bleep did that time fly, and is there any way I can get it back?

Also, I've realized I have to survive for 4 months or thereabout at home, starting 4 weeks from now and ending sometime over Christmas. That'll be a trial (even if I'll be working on my practice place a lot of the time)... I think 2 months is more than enough for the summer holiday, so I'll probably use the Bachelor paper as an excuse to play hermit in my "cave".

My cousin was in a serious wreck two days ago, which apparently should have killed him, but he made it out with a fractured neck. u.u
He has to wear a silly-looking neck brace for twelve weeks, but is fine otherwise. (thankfully)

Geeze, talk about getting lucky. Glad to hear he's alright, Dullahan. Going to be a super fun-filled time having to wear a neck brace for three months too. Super fun. Yep. Heh.
