how to have a concert?

so i want to make a concert in sims 2. i have all the equipment, i just can't get the sims to seem like they're IN a concert. like this video:

i don't know what action that is cause i'm still noobish with movie making. rawr. help is appreciated! thanks!

Well it looks as if a stage was created, instruments placed, and the sims were directed to "perform" to give it the look of a concert.

As for the crowd- that is likely from a pose box- there are tons out there - just have to find the right one.

I downloaded a lot from somewhere- prob. either here, tsr, or mts that is called "desert rock concert" and has TONS of stuff all set up- just add sims.

I can't remember where but maybe you can search for it and see if it comes up?

This is kind of a related reply. carrion at sims2workshop has a stereo mod designed so you sim will appear to be singing while you choose your own music or sim music to play. Its great for making videos. I tried to make an entire band play in the backround but the music doesn't match. But it looks cool for single on stage performances.

I just found out from Carrigon at sims2workshop that she has a silent instruments mod located under her miscellaneous hacks. You also have to download a couple of other mods at modthesims2 to make them work. She has the links posted. You can have your sim sing to your own music and the band playing also.
