I can't get my avatar to show up. It's not too big, i resized it and everything, i renamed it three diff times and it says it's there but it always shows up as the same one that's in my avatar now huh huh
I'm so confuzzled!
I also tried putting it as a url on photobucket, and it didn't work.
Anyone know what's going on?

do you need to refresh the page or maybe delete your cookies? it's possible only you are seeing the same and other's may see the new.

Hmm, just tested it out; I didn't find any problems. I did have to reload the page a few times to get it to show, but...

Hmm, is your new avi just a more extended version of your last one? Seems wider to me at any rate.

Sorry I don't mean to hijack this thread but since this is more or less the same problem Hannah is having I thought I would ask why does my avatar keep reverting back to my old avatar? I keep noticing when I go into different threads that my avatar keeps changing back to my old one? just curious Undecided

Clear your browser cache. This is a problem with your end and not with the site.

Are there new size limits on avatars? I've been trying to change my avatar for the last 15 minutes, but I keep getting "The avatar you have selected is too large, or not an avatar" error message. But the dimensions are the same as my current one, 120x120, the file size is actually smaller and is in jpg format.

I had an issue with the size also. I changed mine for Easter and then when I tried to go back to the one I had before I got the to big message. 100 x 100 seems to be the perfect fit for it.

I did change it after resizing it to 100x100, but I don't see why I couldn't keep the size at 120x120 like my old one. Which is why I figured there were new size requirements.

Because it causes unpleasant stretching of the template and is a pain in the butt to straighten out otherwise. Large avatars aren't really needed, either. Neither are rapidly moving ones that sparkle and glitter. *shudders*

100 x 100 is the size max Wink That's why resizing it smaller worked.
