I had something like this, but I just made it trigger anytime an appropriate sim tried to run down spiral stairs, because it's faster. I do not recommend using it on regular "straight" stairs because straight stairs are frequently wedged into stairwells with no side clearance, meaning the sim will clip through the wall doing it.

I downloaded this and for some reason, it's not working.  You do put it in the downloads folder, right?  Or do the sims have to be running for the animation to be used?

now if only you could do multiple floors in one unbroken motion when there's stacked circular stairs. Imagine 14 floors of that! Smiley

Yes, you do need to place the mod into the Downloads folder in the following location if you have XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads

Vista is similar so you shouldn't have issues navigating to the location under User\Documents.

Also, the mod does not enable the Sim to slide down custom stairs if they're not based on the Maxis stairs.
