A problem when using the phone

How come I cannot invite households and invite sims that are different from my sim's age?

I have OFB, Pets and Seasons..why do you think I cannot invite households like I used to do?

And when I click on a phone...

an option like this appears as well

If the game was humming along fine and then suddenly a problem like this occurs, it is almost always due to custom content either incompatible with your EPs/SPs or else in conflict with some other custom content.

Did you recently install any hacks?
Did you recently install any hacked objects?
Did you recently install any new lots?

Any of those could be how something creating the problem was added to you Downloads folder.

Would suggest running Clean Installer (which highlights hacks in red) and looking for phone-related hacks, then temporarily moving those from Downloads and checking if the problem then goes away.

You might also want to run Paladin's Hack Conflict Detection Utility to see a listing of potential conflicts.

Well, I think the only hacks that I recently installed are some anim/pose boxes and I did not find any phone related  hacks.

Well, take those out first and see if the problem goes away.

It certainly sounds exactly like either incompatible or conflicting custom content:

Looks like Pescado's phone hack got loaded with a downloaded lot.

Use Clean Installer to scan your Downloads folder.

Sort on Type.

Look for the files with no Type.  In particular you are looking for file names 32 hexadecimal (0-9,a-f) characters long.  If you highlight them and don't get a preview picture or any information at the bottom of the CI window, chances are it's a rogue hack.  Either delete the file or move it to a folder outside of the game path.  Right clicking the file is the easiest way to do this.

I used Clean Installer and I found the phone hack, and deleted it.
