I have tested it says my comp passes.

I can play for hrs or days, but then all of a sudden my game will just go to the desktop. And any family I play is then gone. go back into the game it will show a blank house and family and you can no longer play them.
Anyone else have this problem or can anyone think of maybe how to stop it?

To be honest, nobody will know exactly what caused the game to crash just like that.

But there is an official patch out to fix a number of issues with Sims 3. You can try it and see if the new patch will work for you and not crash the game.

Have you tried the 3booter to keep the game from crashing on the loading screen? As said before, nobody will know exactly what caused the game mid-play when the player is playing a Sim family.

I would be thinking it probably had to do with the memory and resources being heavily taxed to the point the game just up and crash. But that is just an assumption.

it's not my memory.. I have a few idea's now of what it may be. My comp meet and exceeds the requirements. testing a few things out now will get back to this thread after my testing is complete may take a bit cause like I said the crashing is very random (Also my game doesn't crash during the loading screen it's after I have been playing awhile.)
