No "it's raining/snowing" spam?

I use the hack from MATY that supposedly suppresses the annoying weather reaction, but it doesn't seem to work for some reason.  I was wondering if there were any other hacks like it out there that actually work.  (I mean come on... you'd think sims had never seen rain or snow before!)

Is your Seasons EP patched? If not, do so (as well as make sure all EPs/SPs you have are patched).

Choose the correct ones applicable to your installed EPs/SPs. My understanding (though could be mistaken) is that the MATY mod builds on or at least works better with the more moderate fixes for the 'interrupt action to gaze at weather' included as a part of the official patch.

Neither eliminates the behavior, though it should crop up as an interruption to a needs-crucial action less often and/or taper off occurring with the patch and the mod.
