Helping to babysit my nephew.

And pretending the DVD player is out of order, as it no longer seems to accept DVDs full of scratches and fingermarks from our little film lover (he puts them in the player himself, watches them for half a minute, then puts in a new one - and repeats X amount of times).

Waiting for coffee, trying to get my uncooperative brain to start giving a damn and thinking it would be nice if I could get some writing done today. It really, really sucks when you have an outline, know what needs to happen next, but you just can't make it happen and glossing over the details won't work because it needs to be done to make the rest make sense.

Waiting for my own coffee to finish brewing. Woke up less than half an hour ago only to find an empty coffee pot, and no one in the house. Hmmph. Other than that, being fuzzy-headed from lack of caffeine.
