Up in the middle of the night, reading a Harry Potter (James Potter Jr., really) continuation/fanfic/Ebook series. Not quite in good old JKR's style, but close enough for the most part, and quite entertaining.

Sitting back and enjoying a glass of wine after taking care of Momma all day (poor thing got hit between the eyes with the Giant Flu Hammer of Doom this morning).

Trying to visit old haunts and found out that none of my browsers can connect with Sapphire Sims any more. Wonder if they packed it in and gave up or just moved and didn't leave a forwarding addy. Enjoying the rare moments of peace in the new place while doing random stuffs on FB and checking out the places I go to when I go to them. Such a vastly entertaining life I lead now that I'm getting old.

Eating filled toffee and coffee caramels (nope, you're not getting any of them, Joy!) and reading.

I believe they shut down when the owner(s) lost interest in it or some such thing. That was a while ago. *shrugs*

....as for myself, just lounging around after spending the afternoon with my partner trying to locate some specialist she needs to see for a followup. That loon's office was out in the middle of nowhere. Fun times.

Playing Skyrim and being bored. Want to go to bed, but I know I'll just end up laying there until I finally fall asleep around 4AM.

Playing Kingdoms of Amalur and sweating...it's friggin' hot and HUMID! For those who don't understand the ugliness of humidity, it's like this; go outside on a blazing hot day draped in heavy wet wool and you might understand. Also contemplating bed, but I, too, wouldn't fall asleep until insane o'clock. I don't have to work until noon tomorrow (YAY, a twelve hour shift), so it's not so bad, I guess, if you can ignore the uncomfortable boredom, tossing and turning and RLS.

Declaring war against the chipmunks in my yard. Those furry little <censored> <censored> <censored>  completely obliterated by basil and thyme plants. Other than that...being bored.

Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Except typing this.

Doing backups and cleaning up the external harddrive. Lots of double and even triple copies, and the thing barely has 70-something GB left out of a TB, and that's after cleaning out a lot of the copies.
