I was wondering if it is possible to clone a basegame chair were a sim gets kinda stuck when it sits on it?
The next thing is ofcourse to let the sim and chair move arround....like a wheelchair.
Would you be willing to give this a try?

I remembered awhile back that there was a fantastic object hack done by wintermuteai over at MTS. Is this the wheelchair you were looking for? It says that anyone can create new "wheelchairs" using the template he built for his own wheelchair.

Let us know if this is what you had in mind. I personally don't do meshes or create custom objects after I wrestled with one computer successfully. Took me two weeks to figure it out heh.

yeah, i have seen it and no offence but it looks ridiculus, far from realistic.......and it works like a car with very limited movement.
I have made attempts that were way better. Wink

I have tried so many times to create a wheelchair, pisses me off EA never made one.

Well, not only did they fail to make items like that for players to have Sims with disabilities, they failed to allow players to be able to have deaf Sims to communicate by sign language or use TDDs to talk to each other, blind Sims who read books with their fingers and use pets to guide them (isn't that what Pets is for?) and physically or mentally challenged Sims with limited motion or mental capacity to understand things.

I don't do meshes or custom objects because that area is far too Greek for me to understand than to do mods.  Grin

You mean the movement of chair and sims together?
That will be hard...but if you manage to link the chair and sim to a animation file i can give it a try....
they prolly have to move individually or only the chair with a sim snapped onto.
The animation of the chair aint that hard, should be possible to even rotate the wheels.

If a sim normally walks, wich animation file is used then?
Its prolly a animation file on 2 or 3 tiles, noting more.
O well...
