I found a thread on Don Lothario and someone said he was in River View...another neighborhood? Are there others? How do I get to them?

You have to have registered your game. If you have, go to the EA site, sims store, and you will find RiverView (free) download.

Right now there are 2 neighborhoods available, Sunset Valley and Riverview. As jamesabrown1 said, you must register your game at the official site to get Riverview, where Don L. lives.

I was checking out the creator forums at ModTheSims and found out that the neigborhoods are objects, not the same as making a map in TS2. A modder is tackling making a new hood now. EA said they would release a neighborhood editing tool, but no other mention of that as of now.

Oho, handy information. Thank you lewisb40. That would explain why some mods work in Sunset Valley, but not in Riverview.
