Spawn Insects

Would it be possible to make a mod to spawn the insects in game? For example, when the ground is clicked there is a menu option for "Spawn Insects" (or something) and the options to spawn butterflies, fireflies, or roaches in the area you clicked (and still have the interactions that go with them - catch, spray, etc). Whenever butterflies appear on my lot they are always in weird places and never when I want them. As for my games, I have all expansions and all stuff packs. Thank you!
