Haha, my town has a few stupid/funny road names. Deadwood is one. We got another called Gay street. I always get a kick out of driving down that one. (yes, I'm easily amused) There's a town in I think Iowa called Hell.

My brother-in-law lives there. He said it sucks too, and that there isn't any geological differences anywhere. It's just flat and boring, and everyone likes corn. Like in Nebraska.

I've seen all sorts of amusing town names on various road trips. A few include:

- Corn Hole
- Reefer
- Whiskey Acres (which, amusingly enough, had no liquor for sale anywhere)

...and in upstate Illinois, there had been a park named Bong Recreational Area. I think it was renamed a few years ago. Hah.

Iowa isn't all flat, but you have to go either extremely east or west to see the bluffs. There are things to do, but it helps if you don't mind traveling a bit to get to them. *sigh* The Mississippi River is a pain in the butt most of the time, but some of the scenery around it is nice.

I traveled through a town called Spotsylvania once. I think its in Virginia somewhere.  Yes my twisted mind thought of speckled vampires Grin.
