I meant if there are multiple files for one age (like the maxis hat hairs, when let's say everyday clothing has a hat, while swim doesn't). Multiple files for different ages/genders is normal Wink

The recolor file also contains 2 male propertysets so it should be normal.(unless he cloned a maxis hair wich he had a replacement installed for.)
Only this meshpackage is not complete, i am missing a Cres and SHPE file.

I am afraid i cant be much help as i do not have the expansion pack needed to extract all necesarry files.
Always take base game files to make custom content. Wink
I can make one from scratch?
Its not that much work

Ach, sorry about that. I saw it and went, "Oh! It's a hat! Maybe it will work. Cheesy" Wow, and thanks so much! If you want to try making one for scratch, I'd be absolutely overjoyed, since I think you'd have a little bit more success than I did, haha. Or alternatively, I could re-extract all of the mesh parts (and not delete the second CRES and SHPE) for you, if that makes it easier. Thank you immensely! <3

Oh no, I'm not very good at this thing, am I? xD; Thanks for putting up with me, Bloom, you're too kind. Here's the extracted texture files.

Oh, Bloom, I love you! Seriously, thank you so so much for this. You're a wonderful guy. I don't know why it was so hard for me to put the whole package together, but I'm so thrilled that you took the time to do this for me. When I upload my finished project, I will most definitely be giving you immense kudos. Thank you again!  YAY

It was your idea after all. Wink

Thank you! Cheesy

And eep, sorry to come back for help again...but after retexturing it, I've come across a problem that I'm struggling with. See, there's a funny issue with the hair in the back, with the gap?

There's like an opacity error or something there, and I'm a bit clueless about how to go about fixing it...would anyone happen to know how to fix this?

You can not solve it by editing the opacity settings because the underlaying layer stick throug the one above it.
You have to select the parts that stick throug and bring them back underneath the toplayer.
In Milkshape that is...Cheesy

I dont have the file anymore Wink

Ahh, that's the problem then? Thanks for your speedy reply, Bloom!  Cheesy

Edited: Looks fine in Milkshape now, nothing poking out where it shouldn't be, and it's still there in BS. Damn. I tried applying the texture to the mesh in Milkshape too, and it still looks fine in there.

got to look, redowning...........
The sim didn't wear any alpha clothing in the screenshot eh?
Depending on the opacity settings clothing layers can sometimes overrule hair layers....

Try this one:

Got the layers fixed, just a matter of giving the layers the correct opacity if you still got bleeding throug issues
