Sim3 Skins-Where Do They Go?

I've downloaded several different Sim3 skins, but I can't find them when I'm in the CAS screen.  What am I doing wrong?

There are no just custom skins yet, they're all replacements for the default skin tones. But where they go, I haven't a clue. I haven't been able to get custom anything to work for me.

Take a look at this tutorial here for installing cc in the TS3.

As far as custom skin tones, as ZanarkanFayth mentioned, there are only custom default replacements, so make sure you only have one in your game.
