How do you install "EP Only" clothes?

I've read on several post to read some post on "top of the screen".  I've been looking and I can't find anything.

"EP only" clothes are usually made with clothing that comes from a certain expansion pack. So unless you have that EP, or the creator has extracted it and made it base game friendly, I believe you're out of luck.

Iv'e noticed when looking at clothes here some titles say EP only, and then you go to look and no where in the post does it say which EP... just wondering why that is.

Well, I downloaded 3 files (EP only) -- I have all EP's so that shouldn't be a issue, got one to work but the other two don't (they are "6TX" files instead of package files) -- not sure if that matters (I'm pretty much computer illerate).

6TX files? The only files you should see for custom content are .package files or .sims2pack. I googled "6TX files + sims 2" and found they're associated with Simposer 2. That's probably why they're not showing up in your game. They're the wrong file format.

Do you remember where you got them from?

Yes, that's what I thought (about the .package or sims2pack).

Found them here in the teen (misses) clothes section.

Link1 - Link2
(these two links to be exact).

Early on, Mandie had made several teen maternity outfits that were posted at .6tx files.  She had posted instructions on the old Insim and Inteen sites on how to change default pregnancy outfits used by Inteen.  Unfortunately that post is missing.

Mandie did later redo some of those outfits as .package files.  Take another look on this site and on Simbology to see if you can find what you want.

Thanks ancienthighway, I'll try that.
