HELP!!! I Can't install world adventure!!!

I go to install it and it tells me I must have the sims 3 installed. I went to do the update and it won't saying something about incorrect region! HELP!!! I don't know what to do!!!

Do you own the Sims 3?

World Adventures is only an expansion (add on) to the Sims 3.

You have to have The Sims 3 to play World Adventures.

You need to go into regedit and find the folder with TS3 and find the file named SKU open it and chang the number from 1 to 7, be sure to save before you mess with it just in case and you can revert back to it...Hope this helps.

Yes I have The Sims 3, and an update. I deleted some CC it turns out it was a hack I had overlooked. It installed just fine, my self sim is in Egypt now. Thanks for the help.
