Up until today, my copy of the University Life collection (the one that includes Uni, TSS, and Ikea) was working perfectly.  But when I click "play" on the launcher, an error message pops up that says "Could not write license data.  Contact customer support."  (By the way, I bought my copy at my local Walmart, so it's genuine.)

Has this happened to anyone else?   huh

No, that never happened to me. I have all of the CD/DVDs (original Sims 2 and all EPs except for a couple) so they're different from what these new collections are.

Have you contacted EA Support to address this issue with them?

It seems to be okay now.  I think it had something to do with the official site being down.  Smiley

Interesting! I never came across that problem before. Must be a new feature with these collections they rolled out. Hopefully that isn't Securom or DRM in disguise to cause issues with people who bought them legally.

Anyway, hope that problem won't come back!

By the way, what level is your Death Knight?

I actually deleted the DK in my avatar a few months back, but kept the picture, LOL.  My current main is a 71 BE warlock, but lately I've had my attention taken up with the Sims, so I'm haven't been playing much recently.

I have a 70 NE Hunter and a 66 NE DK that I play more than others. Warlocks are fun to play too!!
