Moving Objects on Shelves

I havent played sims 2 for a while, so sorry if i seem a bit stupid.
In OFB, when you place items on the shelves for sale, there is a way to move the item from the top shelf to the bottom, without having filled up the top shelf first, I for the life of me cant remember which key it is, and ive tried almost all the keys on my keyboard.
Anyone know which one it is?

It's the "m" key.
just get it on the same spot as the shelf and press "m"
