A couple of days ago, I test-downloaded some sims just to try that out,
but the problem is: I'm not interested in all the custom content that comes with them, and I can't find a way to remove it.
Could someone give me a little help?

Have you tried removing unwanted CC from the Downloads in the launcher?

If you didn't want Sims, delete them from the Sims bin when you're not in Edit Town mode.

The problem with sims 3 is that on the moment you save your game your custom custom content also gets saved in Caches and folders
Even after removing/deleting the cc in either your downloadsfolder or mods/packages folder it will still appear in your game.
I think you need to delete your folder Ccache(if i remember correct) and all files in it.
Also your Currentgame.sims3 folder contains saves but when you delete those you have to start over......
Start deleting these files after you checked your mods/packages  and downloads folder for unwanted CC
And make a backup!!!!

If the item in question was installed via the launcher(aka Sims 3 pack, not a "package file")just go to the installed content section, wait for it to load, then click on whatever you want to uninstall, when the launcher asks whether you want to do this or not say yes,and then it will go through the process like it is installing it again, and then voila! The content in question is permanently deleted, this has always worked for me,and I hope it works for you.
