One what? Mod? Hacked TV that stays on? You'll have to be a bit more clear on what the heck you are talking about.

The mod is indeed by Squinge and it doesn't require EPs. I tested it with all EPs and SPs in and it works fine. From memory, the only niggle I had with it is that if the sim is sent to the TV by the player they just keep sitting there, watching TV ad infinitum, and the action has to be cancelled by the player.
