I just started having a problem that I've never had before.  My Sims and objects will turn solid black and the user interface scrambles.  Can't see what your clicking on in the UI when that happens.

I have no clue what is causing it!  Does anyone have an idea what's causing it?

I think it´s a graphic card problem.
Just in case, before doing anything else, remove the download folder, specially if you have hacks, defaults or other things may cause issues.
If the problem continuous, uninstall CEP if you have it, and check the game again.
If nothing of this solve it, maybe you have to update your graphic card drivers.
I had a problem like this in my game, and I had to change my graphic card drivers. It worked for me.

More information is definitely needed.

What do you have for a computer?  Processor, RAM, Video card.  Basically everything dxdiag will capture.
What EPs and SPs do you have?
If you are using CC and mods, what happens if you remove them from the game?

Looked up the specs for Mansion and Gardens and found that my video card isn't supported.  I currently have a ATI Radeon 4350.  So I've ordered a new video card a Nvidia Geforce 7900.  Which is supported.  Should have it in just a couple of days. YAY!!

Thanks for responding!
