Victorian Roof Decoration for Sims 2 house
I am hoping that the following illustration will help show you what I want. It is from Lethe's Victorian Greenhouse.

There is a piece of roof deco in Sims 2 Build mode under Architecture that looks like this it will sit on the "seam" of the roof either sideways or longways. (The 'moveobjects on' cheat might have to be used, not sure.)
