Sim isn't at work

Every time I enter a family lot, the sims that are supposed to be at work at that time are just standing inside the house. They were sent to work the last time I played. It might be some hack acting up, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and maybe knew the solution.

If you think it's a hack (which it sounds to be to me), trying taking them out of your game (and any custom careers you may have, as those can cause game breakage too) and see if that erases the problem.
