I would like to convert all my packagefile downloads to sims3pack downloads if it is entirely possible.
I have just bought and installed Ambitions and i only have base game and ambitions installed and my problem is that it will not load my package files.
I am just wondering if there is a conversion program of sorts that will alloow me to turn all my downloads into sims3ppack files so that i can actually play my game.
I would also like to find a game add on that allows you to build your photography skill without actually having world adventures installed as my laptop cannot handle it  Sad
If these things do not exist does anyone have any suggestions as to who would be able to make them for me
thank  you so much in advance.

I found this, about downloads and Ambitions. Maybe it will help.

Also remember that things might need updating before they are compatible with Ambitions. Especially mods.

And since photography skill came with world adventures (correct me if I'm wrong), I don't think it's possible.

I have WA, and the photography skilling is, truthfully, more annoying than of any use.
I can't really understand what EA is thinking about, when the picture frame for the cell phone camera is so small you need the sim to stand almost at the end of the town to get a usable picture... The big WA camera is better, but I prefer doing photographing the usual way (at least C-button photographing is upgraded to screen size capture and better resolution, since printscreen capture only makes my pictures black for some reason).

just clarifying (spelling?).
Can the phone camera and regular screenshot camera photographes be used for a stylists portfolio?.
Thank you for the information.
I was only asking about the add-on because i found one for the sims 2 that allowed you to buy,use and download cars without having nightlife installed so that was the sort of thing i was trying to find.
A thousand than yous for your help though.
and a thousand apologies for any spelling and gramatical errors)

Yes, the stylist can use the phone camera for the portfolio pics, but not the C-button pics.
The pics won't come out good, since the capture area is tiny, but I think it works as long as you get something of the "creation" in the picture.

I've used more of the drawings at the drawing table than the camera pics.

Cars in S2 and skilling in S3 are two quite different things. The cars iare only possible because EA made a set of cars and driveways that was BG compatible.
