Ok, my game crashed twice now and i have a pretty good guess that one or more pose boxes did it coz those pose boxes were the latest things i downloaded. It was running fine before i put those in.

I could work this out on my own by removing one after the other and try to see w/c one crashes my game but maybe someone already knows which pose box causes crashing.

I wanted to ask you guys and post this so other people with same problems can just see this list and just steer clear of those downloads.

i'm sure it isn't Decorgal's (MTS2) coz i had that for a long time now.
i always organize my downloads. the first letters in all caps means where i downloaded it. SC means sims cave.
it's from the asian sites stuff.

so, can anyone help?

I don't have all those boxes, but I can't tell you that I play with "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" command and some of wuyi's boxes give me an error when I try to reset my Sims.
Decorgal's pose box from MTS2 is fine, nothing wrong with that, never had had a problem.

Berry's luvluv box, is also fine. I haven't had a problem so far.  Catdogll's boxes seem also good in my game. Same goes for pyu's boxes. I don't know about the rest. Try taking them out one by one and see if the crashing continues.

Or use the 50/50 method. Smiley

I do the same thing (play with testingcheats on) and some give me an error, though I can't tell you which right off the top of my head.

thanks for your replies! Smiley

If i play with "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and get an error on the posebox, does that mean that it's corrupted or something? i always play w/ that set to true and i do get alot of error messages.

It depends on the errors. All the errors create a log file which is saved and located at My Docs\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs. You might want to open the last few log files and see what's in there, what object errors are mentioned.  Maybe it's not a pose box but something else; maybe it's a particular box or the combination of two different boxes. If you don't see what the log files read it's hard to tell what's going on.

Check your log file and it should tell you what's causing the crash.  If you have other items in your downloads, it could also be something like that.  I suggest the download organizer from MTS2, scan for duplicates cleared the problems I had.

i really don't know ow to interpret this:

(if you have a problem reading it, save the jpeg on your computer first)

does it mean that Zack had an error because of the WUYI pose box?

and i had that organizer from Delphy of MTS2 before but i opted to manually check everything. does duplicated meshes cause problems?

I don't know how to read the whole info, but yes, it's Wuyi's box that causes an error. Take it off and see how your game runs.  For your information, the one of Wuyi's boxes I have (don't know if it's the same or not) although it creates errors, it doesn't crash my game. Anyway, take it out and let us know what happens.

EDIT: my game crashed again, and i had these in:

EDIT(again): i don't think it's the poseboxes anymore.

I have the same problem, mostly with gamesir poseboxs. Your game crashs (most likely Cheesy) because you dont have the EP that the poseboxs need. And the thread wouldnt say what ones you need, I download poseboxs, one at a time, so I which one is crashing my game I Know it sucks!  angry Those poses are awesome!!!  rolleyes

OK, now that the question has been answered about a year after the last post, let's just lock the topic now, shall we??
