Custom Content not showing up

I can't get any of my custom content to show up in Users/Prince Avalanche/My Documents/Ea Games The Sims 2/Downloads like the Readmes says but it will show up in Users/Prince Avalanche/My Documents/Ea Games/The Sims 2 Double Deluxe/Downloads
Why won't show there? I have The Sims 2 Double Deluxe with Nightlife and Celebration Stuff and Sims 2 University with IKEA and Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff. I'm very curious. Will I have to uninstall and reinstall? Just wondering.

I doubt reinstalling would do much for you.  I'd say if it works, stick with that method!

Are you unzipping the file and putting the .package files into it? Putting the .rar file or .zip file doesn't work.

Checked with a friend of mine and she says she has to put some (but not all) downloads in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Double Deluxe/Downloads.  Just some, not all!

How did you get your content to show?I cant get any CC other then Max recolors to show.

If only Maxis recolours are showing and nothing else, then it's time to make sure you have all the meshes and/or you're not trying to use something needing an EP or SP you don't have.
