EP1 required:In Testing bring home random objects on home lots New Version(5/16/06)

As requested:
This mod allows Sims to visit campus from home lots & bring back a random object.
EP1 or greater is required to use this mod.
This mod is compatible with EP2, EP3, and FFS.

This mod will conflict with my no visiting campus mod as well as my take off accessories before visiting greek house mod.
 
5/07/06 Version 1.1a now sims always bring back objects & nothing else.
5/16/06 Fixed the alternate version.
This mod was made by Morague (Thanks for helping me catch up on some requests).

This really is in testing. It should work & I am testing it as well, but I'm not an expert like Squinge. He is totally awesome. I am still taking baby steps.

Morague I have question because of this reply.

Since it is clearly mention that it applies to home lots, would it affect greek lots in University section as well?  And at the same time, would it affect what munchie bot bring back home?

EDIT:  I am personally thinking it makes only Sims in regular hood or maybe also business secion lots bring back random things.

muchie bots don't visit campus only sims do, I think what that person meant is their sims only bring back pizza when they visit campus & not objects:)
 
edit:It may work for a business if it's a residential lot because it checks for a dorm if the lot isn't a dorm then it checks for residential then removes itself if it's any other type of lot.

So does it affect what sims will bring at greek house lots in University section or not?  I know depending on the level of it they will only bring pizza.  I personally don't want it to affect that so this is why I want a more precise answer. From reading this, I don't think it does though:

Here is part of the email Morague sent me which should answer your question "I also removed the references to the Frat House's level & just made it a Level 5 which is the level they need to be at to get pizza & random objects."

Ok - currently this mod replaces the standard Greek House commands. The only way to get Residential lots to go get stuff was to set them to Level 5, because they actualy can't pledge people - which is what the standard Greek House level is based on.

Elven Ranger indicated he wasn't using a Campus, so in his case, it really doesn't matter. This is a rather specific mod. Having said that, I will see what i can do about making a separate mod out of it, so that you can have the greek HJouse work normally & also have Residential lots randomly getting stuff. But, this may take awhile! As I pointed out - I am not anywhere near Squinge's level, but I am careful & attentive.

So, yes, this does affect what the Uni Greek Houses can bring back - it removes the test for what level they are at & just makes it level 5, so they will bring back pizza & objects. I changed the Pie Strings so you can see what it is they are going for - rather than Visit Campus it will say Bring Back Pizza or Bring Back Object.

This should not have anything to do with munchie bots - totally separate things.

The mod first tests if you have Uni installed, then it tests if it's a Greek House & if not a Greek House then if it's a residential lot, so it should still work if you have a Home business. I will see if I can separate these - to make the residential part totally independant from The Greek House - that would great.

5/5/2006 @10:21 PM. I have been testing this & honestly I don't think it's working. I think I've missed a Frat lot check somewhere - somewhere else in the coding that is preventing this from firing. So, please be patient. I am working on a separate mod that will hopefully sort this all out. Sorry!

I just posted a new version which should answer the question about this mod working or not, there was a part of code removing this mod if the lot wasn't a frat house & I changed it so this should work now.

Thank you very much for the detailed information about your mod Morague I really appreciate it.  Don't change anything on it because of me unless someone else request it.  I am not planning on using it for now I was more curious of what was involve by installing it to make a choice weither I want it or not.
