Could someone please teach me what could be done to correct the problem that a clone of a bed makes that the sim doesn't use the sheets when sleeping? I know that the problem is already solved somewhere but I don't know where. Thanks.

Depends on how you clone/import the mesh, I think. The bedsheets are animated (I suspect it's bone assignments, but it could be through morphs), and if you do changes to them and re-import as an object file, it won't have the correct bone assignments, or none at all. If you instead do changes only to the bedframe mesh, then it will work better. You'll have to be more steady in bone assignments and meshing if you want to make useable bedsheets.

I've only cloned one bed, and that was only changes in the bedframe and not the bedsheets, so I'm by no means an expert in this...

Thanks, I think this explain what I did wrong. I cloned the whole thing and I didn't even know what I was cloning. I have a child bed that is very nice and I would like to clone it and mirror it. It is a half moon and I would like to have a full moon, so I need another exact bed turned to the other side. You think that if I clone only the frame would be enough? If it is so, I suppose that when I made my captive bed I could simply had deleted the frame? Banging the head on the wall! Thanks for the help.

Clone the whole bed, export everything as an OBJ to work with, but don't re-import the bedding part, only the frame part (make sure you don't move the bedding part at all, so you know where it ends up).

Remember to keep the frame part on the same place in relation to the bedding (that's why it's smart to export the bedding part, but not reimport it - you can either delete it in Milkshape or not import it at all in the import dialogue you get in SimPE)
