NOTICE:
This tutorial is NOT for those inexperienced with SimPE. Proceed with caution, and I cannot be held responsible for any damage you cause your game.[/

Welcome to Babies in Bodyshop.

First, you'll need SimPE, a baby, and Bodyshop. [Or any sim, really. It will work with any sim.]

When you need to click on something, it will be shown in the color below.

The baby I will be using is Taylor Fellows. [He's from my story Olivia]

-----------

Alright, let's get started.

Open SimPE.

Go to neighboorhood browser.

Pick the neighborhood the baby is in. Taylor is in Storyland.

Click open, and wait.

Once it's loaded, click Sims Surgery...

A box will pop open like below. Find your baby.

Click him or her, and then click use under Patient Sim.

Then click Export.

A box will pop up prompting you to save to the SavedSims Folder.. Save it as whatever you'll remember.

Open Bodyshop.

When it's loaded, click Build Sims. Then Click Build or Clone Sims.

Find your baby through all the sims. It should be close to the original sims that came with the game, or Uni if you have that.

There you have it!

Thank you for reading. <3

I have all my story sims backed up, too. They're actually on a flashdrive, incase something seriously wrong happens to my computer.

This is interesting.  I never knew bodyshop would accept baby-sims.

Does BS allow you to hit the "clone" button and do any editing of any sort on the baby?  I wouldn't expect that it would, at least the editing part.

I shall try this out.  I've exported in-game sims before, but this is interesting.

You can edit the face paint, eyes, skintone, eyebrows, and that's about it.

Note: You still cannot create babies in CAS, so there is no other purpose than body-shop. sorry.

I also didn't understand why you back-up babies in BodyShop in the case that something goes wrong with your game. Do you have a way to recover a baby in game? Or you just need pics? Is there any tool that allows the game to surgery a sim directly from BodyShop? (If yes, pleeeease liiiiiink me!)  Wink
All I heard so far is that you have to recreate a sim in CAS to use as surgery source. Babies cannot be created in CAS (I doubt even in TS3, 'cause there are no babies in this game, just animations).

It's just supposed to be funny, or if you need to extract any sim. It will work for any sim, not just a baby. I just showed how to get a baby in bodyshop, that's it. Nothing else. it's just supposed to be funny.

I had good use of it, to extract and make backups of some sims I've got. The baby thing is just a bonus Wink
