This was requested by Jeanna-Anne. Cheesy She requested a Midwifery career with no chance cards, so I delivered just that.
I would've had it up sooner, but my internet was out all yesterday, and part of today!

Job icon:

Career info:
1. Student - M, T, W, Th, F - 280 - 8:00-14:00 (8am-2pm)
Before you can get started, you need to know what you're doing! A few years in school never hurt.

2. Scholar - M, T, W, Th, F - 385 - 20:00-2:00 (8pm-2am)
Now that you are through with school, maybe some Midwifery Council would be a good idea. Don't worry, you'll be on your way soon!

3. Community Worker - M, T, W, F, Sa - 476 - 7:00-14:00 (7am-2pm)
For now, you will be working in Women's homes, and children centres until you are better trusted.

4. Resident - M, T, W, F, Sa - 574 - 9:00-18:00 (9am-6pm)
Now you are better trusted. Becoming a midwife is a big deal, so don't take this job lightly!

5. Care-taker - M, T, W, F, Sa - 672 - 18:00-1:00 (6pm-1am)
Your job is to take care of your client while they are at their most vulnerable. Can you handle it, or will you crack under pressure?

6. Trusted Midwife - M, T, W, F, Sa - 770 - 10:00-18:00 (10am-6pm)
Many people trust you to help them in their time of need. Use this trust to better your skills.

7. Full-time Midwife - M, T, W, Th, F, Sa - 875 - 10:00-16:00 (10am-4pm)
Now your job has become much more serious. You will now work every day (besides Sunday!) until farther notice.

8. Specialist - M, T, W, F, Sa - 980 - 10:00-16:00 (10am-4pm)
You are now skilled at your job, and know exactly what you're doing. Don't let it get the best of you!

9. Councillor - M, T, W, F, Sa - 1356 - 11:00-18:00 (11am-6pm)
Your job is to council and educate your clients while they are in their time of need. Make sure you do your job well!

10. Renown Midwife - M, T, W, Th, F - 1488 - 9:00-16:00 (9am-4pm)
Now you are at the top of your game. Hopefully you will keep doing what you're doing, and love every minute of it!

If you see any problems, or whatever, please let me know.
I also take career requests. :]

Hey, Dullahan!  I'm a member of a medieval-themed Sims site and I would like to use your career as the base for my own, Medievalized version of Midwifery.  What's your policy about sharing this mod?

Thanks!

Cool

Hey, thanks for asking~
You can do whatever you like with it, just keep it free, and I'd like a credit link to my website. :]

I'll put the link in on my README...but I need to ask you about how you created this Career.  You said yours didn't have Chance cards, so I used Bidou's Career Editor to put them in.  The cards are acting hinky, though--anything having to do with any Money Rewards or Penalties for the career levels 7 and higher are having the figures multiplied by 1000!

For instance, a 500 simoleon reward came out to be 500,000 Simoleons instead!

Any advice on what's up and/or how to fix it..?

Thanks!

Most people don't look at the read me file, so to follow Dullahan's TOU, it would probably be best to put in a link on your site, or wherever you're hosting your content. Of course, it's Dullahan's call.

It would also depend on the rules of the site, if you're using a forum. For example, we require credit to be given directly in the post where it can be plainly seen by everyone. A credit link in the read me file wouldn't suffice.

I think it is a problem with the Science career, so you may want to start with a different career. If you want me to, I can.
~Edit~
Oh, sorry, I used Bidou's career editor; much easier than writing them from scratch. But, like I said, the Science career seems to have that problem, which is the first career Bidou uses.

Yes, please credit me somewhere other than the read me. I would like people to know that you started with my career. Thanks~

I have moved all the custom career help questions in here into it's own thread in the Custom Content and Recolouring help section. You can find it here.
