This section is for the presentation of your "work in progress", it is not a
patent office or a copyrighting forum.  Just because you post something here
does not give you explicit sole-use of the idea you share here.  The purpose of
this forum is to show you work, share ideas, and perhaps (if you feel brave)
ask for criticism (I wouldn't).

Now, just a bit of a recap of the rules for this section:

Do Not Post Your Finished Work Here!
The InSIMenator.net forum has many subfora that are for the use of uploading
and sharing your work with others.  Please make appropriate use of those
Community Downloads fora that are most appropriate to your work.  If you
post in this section by mistake, it will be moved to whatever subforum the
staff of InSIMenator.net deems most appropriate.  If you become a chronic
offender, we won't like you much and will probably not invite you to sit
with us at the forum picnics.  If you are especially bad, we may make fun
of you behind your back.  If you go crazy posting your finished work in
this section, we will probably start using harsh language and ban you.

Be Nice!
If you don't like someone's work, then move on.  This is a Constitution-Free
Zone.  The First Amendment only applies here when you have something to say that
I agree with.  Yes, you read that rightly.  My way or the highway.  Which is
what you all know it is like anyway, I just pretend to not notice when you say
things I don't agree with.  I call this "benevolent tyranny".  Most of you
seem to like it.  So be good, be nice to one another, or I will have to unleash
my squirrelly wrath upon Ye.

Posting Images and Attached Files. When posting any attached
content to your topic post or reply, please do not use copyrighted
matter. This constitutes theft of intellectual property and punishable
by law in most nations. Also, do not post custom content for the game
which you found on another website or forum. This constitutes theft of
intellectual property and punishable by law in most nations and will
result in whatever disciplinary action is deemed appropriate by the
administrators of InSIMenator.net. Intentional theft of textures,
models, and other matter from so-called "pay sites" will result in
immediate banning without appeal. Including items in a lot or sim file
that are from "pay sites" may result in disciplinary action. Additional
rules may apply depending on the section of InSIMenator.net in which you
choose to post. It is your responsibility to know, understand, and
follow these additional rules.

Remotely Hosted Image Files. If you are using Photobucket.com or
some other image hosting service to place images in your posts, please

review the following new guidelines:
   a. No image may be wider than 800 pixels
b. No image may be taller than 1024 pixels
-- you may link the photo to a remotely hosted file of larger dimensions
c. Please be reasonable in the number of images you use, we do not want to limit your ability to display your work, but please try to fit as many recolours of a set on one image as you can; not every one is on broadband.
d. No adult content will be tolerated the general audience section of the forum.
e. No images of racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, or any other -ic or -ist nature that is degrading, insulting, or furthers a stereotype. A failure to list one here is NOT a grant-safe that it is allowed.
f. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in editing of your post, and possibly editing of your images, whichever the staff of InSIMenator deems most appropriate. Gross violations of this policy may result in whatever disciplinary action is deemed to best serve the needs of the InSIMenator community (e.g., moderation of posts, banning of the offender)
g. These rules are prone to revision. Failure to know these rules is not an excuse.
h. When in doubt of any section of these rules, look for guidance by adhering to the other rules in this article.

Additionally, concerning video files:

Video Files:

-- Video files must be in Quicktime MOV, Windows Media Player WMV,
-- or Audio Video Interleave AVI format. If a specific codec is required
-- for playback this must be freely available for download.

-- Video files must be hosted remotely at a site other than InSIMenator.net
-- to conserve bandwidth for the primary purpose of this site.

Remotely Hosted Images & Video Content:

-- At all times files viewable on or linked to from InSIMenator.net must abide
-- by the rules of the forum in their content. Regardless of the reason, no file
-- that violates the rules of the forum will be allowed. Failure to comply
-- with the rules of the forum will result in the person making the post
-- being subject to disciplinary action as is deemed necessary and expedient
-- by the administrators of the forum.

Now, have fun, show off, and get busy!
