Books keep disappearing

I have made several buyable books.
Starting today, my sim can read the book just fine, but after they are done, the book disappears.
I'm not sure what is causing it, probably some mod or something, but it doesn't make much sense.
Help, please?

I have all EPs/SPs if that helps.

They aren't there, they seem to be completely gone.

Some buyable books tend to disappear. If the originals disappear too, then it's something in the coding.
Someone might have made non-disappearing books. Most likely at MTS.

But I've had a lot of buyable books before now, and they have worked just fine. It just started today.

I tested my game with no CC besides the books, and they stopped disappearing. So, as I expected, it is some piece of CC that I've downloaded in the past week or so. There's no 'automatic put away books' mod, is there? 
Off to hunt for that CC.

Yes, there are hacks that can cause books to disappear when your Sims try to put them down.  They're intended to keep the house cleaner while the Sims are skilling, and many probably haven't been updated to deal with custom books and Sim-authored novels.  Once you narrow it down, see if there's an FT compatible version.

You wouldn't happen to know where to find any of these, hm?
I found one at DJS, but it was not the one in my downloads folder, and I cannot find anything that has got to do with it.  

I have mostly found the problem: It appears that one of my custom books is causing the problem, because after I removed the most recent ones I've made, the books stopped disappearing. So I need to take a look, and see what is causing the problem, so I can fix it...

Nevermind, it was just a coincident.
I tried it with a sim who did not have a bookcase, and the book did not disappear. I tried it with a sim who did have a bookcase, and the book still disappeared. So I should try looking at my custom bookcases, or make sure my sims don't have them. x]
