Just a little bit ago I tried playing sims, and it will not start now. I clicked on the shortcut to start it, and it acts like it is starting, but then just stops, as like it terminated the program.
I played it earlier today, and it worked just fine.

I am running on Windows 7.
My specs are:
Proccessor: T4500 @ 2.30 GHZ
RAM: 3.00 GBs
And I have 137 GBs free of 219 GBs.

Have you tried deleting the cache files?

Someone also told me to try a disk clean up.

If you haven't added anything new, the cache files are most likely the culprit.

I always delete them before or after I play my full CC collection, before and after using Bodyshop, and when I switch between full game and near to CC-free. Less chance of bugginess. I've not had startup problems after I started doing that.

Ah-ha, you were right!
I deleted the cache files, and it started up right away.

Thank you very much, Raven~

This empty Groups cache file might save you having to remember to delete said file every time. It is posted on an open part of the Forum, so no need to register.
