Hey, not sure where going wrong, just installed sims 3, generations and pets again. I went to install custom content and it doesn't show up.

Followed instructions on the 'new' way and it still doesn't work! I copied the files to the place they were supposed to be, and even with just the no sparkles, and the no intro mod, the game isn't finding them! Have the resource.cfg file in place, in the my documents folder, along with overrides and Mods.

Its driving me insane now! What am I doing wrong?

hi,

each time you change a package, you have to delete these lines:

do'nt care, they will be in the game as the session starts.

I was having the same problem. I have Windows 7 and in order for your packages to work, I went to MTS and downloaded Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Setup. Once I installed that program, then I installed the Sims 3 Dashboard. Once there, I clicked on File and browsed until I came to my Mod Folder, went to my Package Folder. Voila! my .package files came up, as well as letting you know what files are corrupt, duplicates, etc.
