*insert whining about game here*

So, my computer recently decided to get a nasty virus and NOT create backups of itself, forcing me to wipe my computer completely clear. Luckily, I had backed up sims about a month before. I reinstalled the games, plopped in the Program Files and Documents files and... none of my CC is showing up, save for about two poseboxes. My saved sims, my own outfits I created, all my downloads... nothing. I deleted all those wonderful cache files and still nothing. Any ideas?

Sometimes you have to make sure cc is enabled, then exit the game and restart.

I did, but all my CC on the list that pops up before the "choose a neighborhood" menu that is usually there, isn't. Only three things pop up on that list rather than the usual long list.

Did you also re-install the CEP that lets you use the custom content?? I know it's probably a silly question on my part, but I forgot to do that once and when someone reminded me, let's just say it was a massive facepalm moment.

Nope, didn't work Sad Opened up Body Shop and all the premade sims are still showing up (I had a mod to keep them hidden), my Sims that I made aren't showing up, and neither are skins, hairs, eyes, etc. Although reinstalling CEP did make a few more things show, so thank you Tongue

Try going into the game options and see if "Enable Custom Content" is checked. Sometimes it defaults to off with a clean install.

That is checked, so my CC should show up, but it's not. My self-made neighborhoods aren't showing up, either. All the premades from all the expansions are, however.

And before I forget (again), I have all games but Holiday, FT, M&G, and Ikea

You could try deleting the neighbourhood manager file.
Did you have the store addition? Custom neighbourhoods won't show up if the store addition was installed before and isn't anymore.
