Hey, I'm glad to be back here, now that school's winding down. Smiley Every time I try to buy suspenders for my elder males, the game crashes.
I've tried removing most of my mods, but the ones I still have are, werewolfcustomskinfix, MQ_Individual_Aging_Controller, Squinge's breastfeed hack for EP8, Inteenimater for Apartment Life (I have no conflicting packs, I made sure as far as flavour packs go.)  Insimenator and triplets and quads. I've deleted the cache each time I take a mod out. I'm really scratching my head at this point because I'm unsure what to do. Thanks for any help!  cool

Perhaps the clothing files are borked. That's the most likely reason if it happens with the same clothing every time. The only thing that works is to remove those clothing files.

They're Maxis basegame clothes. Sad The suspenders. Towards the end of the shopping list of outfits. I'm very confused, as I don't use custom clothes, aside from three outfits I made from Maxis mesh for teenagers.

My brother has been having the same problem; he has no custom EM clothes.

I also had the same problem with YA males, but it eventually cleared up, so I guess it was CC.

Perhaps corrupt game files?

I'd first try to move out the entire Downloads folder, and see if it corrects. It is most likely that you have some CC interfering.

@Dullahan
Do you know if your brother uses any of these mods?
-werewolfcustomskinsfix
-MQ_Individual_Aging_Controller

So far, its not the functional pregnancy test, the twins birthing table, or the maxis dangelmaster or bounce chair, none of my Sims CC (eyes, hair, skin, make-up, clothes)

I'm thinking at this point maybe it's Insim or the two mods I listed above.
I'll update as I go through, so maybe we can solve your brother's game borking problem as well. Two birds with one stone. Smiley

EDIT:
The issue still remains with no CC present.
I've had this neighbourhood since '08. . .  I'll just stay away from the suspenders.

He doesn't have either of those.

Maybe it is a corrupt objects.package file?

Try this:
http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Corrupted_Objects.package
Whatever version of sims you have to use to play the game, open the disk.
Find a thing called 'compressed.zip'. There should be a fresh copy of Objects.package in there.
If that doesn't fix it, some other game files could be corrupt. If so, you will need to try replacing the files such as
Expansion > TSDate > Res > Sims 3D. The files in there such as Sims03.

If all else fails, you could backup your neighborhood and reinstall.

You might want to try to delete the "CASThumbnails" file from the "Thumbnails" folder, before you do the Objects.package thing.
