I was wondering if anyone has seen a mod out there that stops your sims from getting sick with a cold thanks to seasons? Its getting annoying to play my game when my sim just gets sick in his/her house out of the blue so im hoping that someone knows where I can get a mod to stop this.

If you are going to use a cheat, why not use one to increase lifetime happiness points.  Then you can purchase the simmunity reward.  I use it all the time, because I was tired of all my sims getting sick.   GAH4   I personally use the MC mod which enables that feature.  BTW, there is another request for this very same subject about a lifetime happiness reward cheat just below your post.

I saw that and tried it, but I couldnt get it to work. And the reason why I made this post was to see if anyone saw a mod that stops the random sickness not a mod for the lifetime wants. Though I would like to know what the MC mod is if it lets you gain happiness points to get the simunnity.

The simmunity works immediately. I had a couple of sims who were sick, and the moodlet went away just after they got the lifetime reward.

They can also get a vaccine at the hospital. Not sure how long it works, but it took away the sick moodlet. Also, it's non-cheaty...

My sims almost always get sick before I can get the simunnity lifetime reward. As for the vaccines, every time I click the hospital it never gives me the option for it. Thats why I asked if a mod was found to turn off the sickness.

If you want a cheaty version, it's very simple. Type in the "testingcheatsenabled true" cheat, and shift-right-click the moodlet (or whatever the combination was - I only remember it when I'm ingame). Sickness goes away instantly. Works on other red moodlets, too (but be careful with the green ones, as it also works on them).

I've tried both on the moodlets and a bit to the right and nothing works saddly. But if no one has found a mod to prevent this then I guess ill have to deal with it  Undecided

That mod is called Master Controller and Twallan is the creator.  MC does a multitude of things, one of which allows you to add to the Lifetime Happiness points which will then enable you to acquire the rewards.  Simmunity is a must for me   YAY.
